Job Description
We are currently looking for a R&D Lighting Project Leader in Liège, Belgium. You will play a crucial role in the development of optical building blocks and their integration within outdoor luminaires.
What you will do :
- Optical Design and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate optical components into luminaire products.
- Photometric Testing: Lead photometric testing and analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance requirements.
- LED Technology: Leverage your expertise in LED technology to optimize light output, color rendering, and energy efficiency.
- Mechanical Integration: Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of optical elements within luminaire housings.
- Research and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in photometry.
- Project Management: Efficiently manage photometry-related projects, coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Supplier Follow-Up: Oversee relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of components and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications

Required Skills :
- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge in optics/photometry is a plus.
- Familiarity with LED technology and its impact on luminaire performance.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (Speos or similar).
- Understanding of mechanical principles for effective integration.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Language : English (B2 Min), French
