Primary Responsibilities:

l  Lead the cross-function team, including design engineers, sourcing and engineers in CM to ensure program on-time delivery.

l  Own the technical tollgate reviews, and pass it on time.

l  Interpret the market demand into technical requirements for new product development;

l  Participate in defining product specifications, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Product & Process Qualification;

l  Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams in interfacing with suppliers;

l  Work with suppliers and improve their capability to meet GE standards;

Qualifications Required:

l  Engineering background. Bachelor's degree and above.

l  Over 2 years engineering experience or fresh graduates.

l  Fluent Chinese and English on both oral and written language;

l  Eager to initiate and drive changes cross different function teams; willing to take challenges and learn new knowledge.

Desired

l  Project management experience

l  LED lighting design experience, such as system, electrical, mechanical, optical design.

l  Familiar with the new product introduction process.

l    Familiar with Lean six sigma methodology is a plus.
