Job’s Mission
Responsibility for the development and execution of marketing strategies for an assigned part of the portfolio within the DACH region, with the objective of sustainably strengthening market presence and access, including the development of market-shaping and penetration strategies. In addition, the role covers the design and steering of targeted HCP activation programs, as well as close collaboration with regional cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for a defined part of the portfolio within the DACH region, including independent management and further development of related marketing activities
- Strategic conception, development, and execution of marketing initiatives in the DACH market based on market and competitive insights as well as internal and external data
- Development and execution of regional marketing strategies, taking into account DACH-specific market requirements, while contributing to the overall portfolio and brand strategy
- Responsibility for planning, controlling, and managing SG&A budgets in the DACH market
- Development, continuous optimization, and execution of brand and campaign plans for the DACH region across relevant channels (e.g., digital, HCP, PR, etc.)
- Strategic conception and management of marketing and communication materials for healthcare professionals and relevant target groups in the DACH region
- Conducting market, competitive, and customer analyses with a focus on the DACH market, including deriving actionable insights and measures
- Close collaboration with regional teams (e.g., Sales, Medical, Market Access) to ensure aligned and effective market execution across DACH
- Management and execution of review and approval processes for materials in close alignment with relevant stakeholders
- Support and enablement of the field force through relevant content and materials
- Management of external service providers and agencies within regional marketing activities
- Planning and execution of congresses, events, and other activities with a focus on the DACH market
- Ensuring regulatory and internal compliance (e.g., GDP) within the DACH context
- Active participation in internal and external meetings, representing the DACH perspective in cross-functional discussions
Qualifications
• Several years of experience (typically 7+ years) in marketing roles with demonstrated strategic and operational impact, ideally within the healthcare or pharmaceutical environment; strong industry experience with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and market dynamics
• University degree in Business Administration or Marketing (essential)
• Proven experience in developing and executing market-shaping and penetration strategies within a defined market or region, combined with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and measurable business outcomes
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments with the ability to drive initiatives independently, alongside managing external partners (e.g. agencies) and handling complex projects
• Strong background in omni-channel customer engagement, including a solid understanding of digital marketing, HCP activation, and analytics tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting; experience with CRM and marketing tools, as well as regulatory approval processes (e.g. MLR), and the ability to structure and present complex information clearly
• German and English required; French or Italian is a plus (not mandatory)
