Job Description
The Associate Director, Corporate Compliance Assurance, is a pivotal leader responsible for driving the centralized and coordinated development and enhancement of Compliance Program operational elements across the EMEA region. This role is dedicated to ensuring robust compliance practices that align with global and regional regulatory standards while fostering an ethical and transparent business environment.
This role requires exceptional leadership, deep expertise in compliance operations, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
What you will do:
- Develop and Implement Compliance Policies: Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance across the EMEA region.
- Training & Communication Leadership: Lead initiatives to enhance compliance awareness through training and communications programs.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments to identify and address potential compliance risks.
- Compliance Monitoring & Auditing: Oversee monitoring and auditing activities to ensure adherence to standards and identify risks.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage compliance data and analytics to inform decisions and identify emerging trends.
- Investigations & Ethics Hotline Management: Manage the compliance hotline and investigations into potential violations, ensuring appropriate corrective actions.
- Transparency Program Oversight: Ensure adherence to spend transparency and manage the regional transparency program.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Oversee Business Compliance Partner teams, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure local compliance operations align with global and regional standards.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, or Business Administration. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical compliance, with a strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
- Proven experience in managing compliance operations, including monitoring, auditing, and reporting activities.
- Excellent knowledge of European pharmaceutical industry standards, including EFPIA, IFPMA
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, and a detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in using compliance management software and tools.
- Professional certifications in compliance, such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), are highly desirable
