Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • NAND design and simulation in Verilog, RTL linting, clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis, design integration, synthesis, DFT, timing analysis and closure Balance design trade-offs with modularity, scalability, power, area, and performance
  • Work to identify and resolve performance issues in the system with NAND 
  • Interface with internal and external teams/customers to drive necessary technical specifications and features based on individual requirements Participating in Post-Si evaluation and debug Drive cross function support for productization
  • Technical guidance and mentoring of junior engineers

Qualifications

Required

  • Masters or PhD in Computer/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience in logic/system design, simulation, modeling and analysis
  • Working knowledge of the entire Logic design flow from RTL to GDSII 
  • Working knowledge of NAND flash memory cell device operations, algorithms for program/read/erase
  • Proven track record of defining computer systems (processing units/memory hierarchy)
  • Proficiency in workload characterization and analysis
  • Experience system design with NAND, PCIe/UCIe/CXL, NoC, DMA, Firmware, NAND, etc
  • Ability to comprehend the HW/FW/SW and their interactions in system design

Preferred

  • NAND architecture/design and simulation
  • Working knowledge of computer architecture/system and digital design
  • Experience in evaluating performance/power and architectural modeling in high-level programming languages
