Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Engineer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will drive technical excellence, mentor engineering teams, and architect innovative solutions that shape the future of our organization. As a Principal Engineer, you will combine deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to solve complex engineering challenges and establish best practices across the organization.

  • Design and implement advanced verification and validation methodologies, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for SSDs
  • Develop and optimize verification flows, emulation environments, and automation frameworks using modern programming and scripting languages
  • Mentor and support engineering teams, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Partner cross-functionally with design, validation, firmware, and physical design teams to resolve system-level issues and drive technical alignment
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, test plans, and architectural specifications
  • Conduct code reviews and establish quality standards to ensure code excellence and maintainability
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance engineering productivity
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels, translating complex ideas into actionable insights
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and proposing solutions that advance organizational capabilities

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in verification, validation in storage domain
  • Advanced proficiency in NVMe / PCIe / NAND / System Design of SSD
  • Deployed new methodology in SSD Validation using AI
  • Proven expertise in test plan creation, testbench architecture, and test execution
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in simulation and emulation environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams
  • Strong architectural thinking and system-level design experience
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with design, validation, and firmware teams
