Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Contribute to the improvement of the site quality by handling quality issues on the site in general according to the corporate and project quality standards.
  • Support QAQC Managers, QC team for QC Documentation & other reports (daily / weekly / monthly) as per QAQC standard & Client requirements.
  • Perform Internal & ISO audits, Documents, Drawings, Engineering Queries, Design Change Notice, Field Change Notices, Site Queries, NCR Log, Request for Inspection records, Punch Lists, Quality procedure's of Welding & Painting Specifications, Welder Qualifications, Procedures and Certificates, Reports, etc.
  • Perform Distribution of Request for Information (RFI), RFI Log Control, RFI Tracking, Inspection Report Filing, Handover Preparation

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all controlled quality documents related to the project are maintained to the latest issue and made available at all locations where operations essential to the effective functioning of the Quality Management System are performed.
  • Prepare and update various logs and registers for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Prepare the Final Project Record Book and coordinate with the support team for quality record management.
  • Control and maintain the system for issuance recording/filing, tracking, and retrieval of documents like procedures, QA/QC records, specifications, drawings, and related documents.
  • Prepare all related documents based on the quality procedures for internal and external audits to the concerned contractors, departments, vendors, and client.
  • Monitor activity completion (Inspection Test Record) and follow up the closure of Inspection record-related punch items.
  • Coordinate with the support team for quality record management.
  • Manage the implementation of company documents using various document control software.
  • Prepare the Request for Information (RFI) checklist within 24 hours prior to inspection.
  • Ensure that all other discipline activities that require inspection within the activity have been inspected and approved.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 0 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • QAQC Construction experience in an oil / gas / petrochemical as QC Document Controller.
  • Engineering & Construction Company working experience in Middle East is preferred.
  • Establish an adaptable and effective documentation and compilation of Project
  • Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants
  • Engineering & Construction Company working experience

Knowledge or Certification:

  • Comprehensive knowledge on Quality Management Procedure and QAQC Document standards.
  • Computer application ability (MS Office). 
  • Project Document System
  • Request For Inspection (RFI) System 

Technical and Behavioral Competency:

  • Knowledge of various types of quality documents like ITP, RFI, Method statements, Nonconformance report, Drawings, QCP, NDT, WPQ Certificates, Reports, Technical Queries, Hydro test packages, and other miscellaneous project contract documents.
  • Familiarity with document control software and systems.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
