Job Description
General Characteristics (Job Summary):
- Inspection of Heavy Equipment at site.
- Perform quality activities in accordance with quality management system established.
- Establish inspection and test plans and its record forms as per project requirements and international codes and standards.
- Carry out inspections on discipline responsible to determine whether work performed conforms to quality requirements, and recording its result.
- Ensure inspection status is controlled through efficient tools such as inspection matrix.
- Coordinate direct activities with the other discipline inspectors to maintain consistency and integrity in the overall construction.
- Inspection of piping, welding, painting and insulation activities and supports subcontractor to ensure quality and efficiency in accordance with project specification.
- Review Customer's technical specifications and Quality Assurance Plans, QC Procedures and NDE procedures assist with establishing acceptable working practices for construction activities.
- Verifying that adequate and valid welder approvals are available, and that only approved welders are used in production.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in any Engineering or equivalent (Fire, Safety, Chemical, relevant Majors are preferred).
Experience
- Experience in inspecting heavy equipments with SA-CSM Mechanical & Equipments and GI 7.030 inspection and testing requirements.
- Project based safety control experience gained within the Oil and Gas industry/EPC projects or Petrochemical
Knowledge
- Competent knowledge in HSE.
- Knowledge in performing ERT Member for incident/accident situation, chemical spill, fire, working at height, Confined Space vessel horizontal & vertical search and rescue.
- Knowledge in PSSR Pre start up safety review assessment, plant operation and shutdown as well.
- Knowledgeable in documentation and presentation.
- Good management and leadership skills with responsible attitude.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point Presentation applications.
