General Characteristics (Job Summary)

• Perform and manage daily issuance of site construction and commissioning permits which begins from application of PTW from sub-contractors.
• Release of approved PTWs- Provide administrative support to construction managers, issuing authorities.
• Report directly to HSSE Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and verification of applied work permits, PTW documents and other required PTW attachments.
• Conduct periodic / adhoc PTW audit on site.
• Notify client, other EPC contractors and sub contractors on critical activities on site.
• Maintain up to date PTW registry.
• Ensure all relative PTW documents like task risk assessment, method statement, approved drawings etc. is verified and reviewed and all documents are signed and approved by responsible personnel.
• Maintain a display board of all active work permits issued on site, daily updates on PTW display board- Managing PTW office and organize PTW coordination meeting with PTW authorities.

Experience

• As PTW controller in oil and gas construction.
• Project-based permit controller experience ideally gained with the Oil and Gas industry or Petrochemical industry is preferred.

Knowledge

• Working to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, etc.
• Comprehensive knowledge on safety procedures and requirements in oil and gas construction
