Summary

Responsible for supervising the HVAC & Plumbing and Inspection activities, managing the inspection, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. 

General Characteristics

Stronge understanding of HVAC and Plumbing systems, codes and Saudi Aramco engineering standards, Procedures and Materials System Specification.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leads Quality Control Inspectors to the various areas of site activities, schedules and collection of Quality Records.
• Reviews/Prepares and establishes Inspection Test Plan (ITP) as per scope of work, schedule “Q”, approved drawing requirements & vendor’s/manufacturers requirement for client’s review/approval.
• Issues/Prepares & Controls non-conformance report to the QA/QC manager and promptly initiate, recommend and substantiate in
• developing corrective & preventive actions to avoid repetitive / recurrence of violation.
• To co-ordinate and actively participate in the screening and training of all personnel, including
• subcontractors. 
• Preparing all deliverables and send them to Aramco. Prepare two week look-ahead schedule as per site activities. 
• Managing and overseeing the work of plumbing contractors and ensuring that they are complying with Aramco guidelines and requirements. Keeping up to date with the latest industry standards, best practices, and regulations related to plumbing construction and quality control.
• Reporting and providing feedback on quality matters regarding implementation activities and inspection issues. 
• Make sure the implementation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) & Quality Inspection Plan (QIP). 
• Perform the inspection of the plumbing system according to the International Codes and standards. 
• Familiar with the standards like ASME, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA90A. 
• Installation Inspection of refrigerant piping as per ANSI 31.5. Responsible for the Installation work for the CFU’s, SIF’s, AHU’s, ACCCU’s, Air Stack and Package Air Conditioning Units as per ITP. 
• Responsible for the Installation work for the RTU’s, AHU’s, ACCCU’s and Package Air Conditioning Units as per ITP. 
• Develop and maintain Inspection procedures and operation testing procedure, throughout the construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.

Education

University Degree or High School Diploma (Provided years of experience as stated below)

Experience

• The candidate shall have a university degree and a total of seven (7) years of experience in inspection, or a high school diploma with a total of ten (10) years of experience in inspection.
• As minimum, the candidate shall have three (3) years directly relating to supervision of construction activities in the Contract Scope of WORK (e.g.; oil, gas and petrochemical projects, Infrastructure, communication).
