We are looking for our future Assistant performance footwear product line manager M/W to support the development and organization of the performance footwear category (Travel could be expected).
Your missions will be:
1. Assist in the product creation process within its lifecycle:
Help prepare concise product briefs that represent consumers’ needs, market opportunity, and logical product line organization
Ensure product benefits and specifications align with their brief throughout prototype and development process
Contribute to seasonal color brief across performance footwear range
Participate in design validation of KFPs and concept models
Contribute to the copywriting of products
Model creation and management in development and e-commerce software
2. Gather insights to help shape future products:
Report insights from various market sources such as media, product sessions, focus groups, competitions, events, etc.
Analyze effectiveness of Salomon brand activations and product launches in target consumer geographies
Analyze market trends, activations and product launches in performance running and fashion relevant to our product strategy
Analyze prior season performance across categories and regions globally
Assist in briefing product articles given correlating regional forecasts and market benchmarks
Prepare of competitor and market landscape analysis as it relates to marketing campaign strategy and product
3. Assist in cross-functional tasks throughout product lifecycle:
Contribute to the creation internal marketing and product technical sheets
Presentation of business updates and product marketing material
Management of sample tracking and cross-functional management of samples for key gates and events
Ensure cross-functional alignment on software and processes throughout key gates
Bring feedback and market perspective on product reviews in key development gates
Facilitation of smooth execution during brand activations and events

Qualifications
Your skills:
Education: Business school or similar specialization in Marketing/Sales at master’s Level
Specific Skills:
An internship or experience in the field of product management, sales, business analyst and/or a sporting environment would be a bonus
Understanding of the performance footwear market, consumers & communities
Organized, proactive, creative team worker and ability to work in fast/dynamic environments
Language(s): Excellent standard of English is a must, good standard of French is a plus
IT Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Pack (Excel and PowerPoint mainly)
Driving license: essential

Contract type:
An internship agreement (convention de stage) from your school or university is required, and your internship must be part of your study programme. Agreements not backed by active enrolment cannot be accepted.

This internship is covered by a tripartite training agreement (convention de stage) between you, your school, and the company. Compensation:
At Salomon, internship allowances are broken down as follows:
Internship allowances:
High school diploma to bachelor's degree: €700 gross
Master's degree: €950 gross
Doctorate: €1,200 gross
Housing allowance:
€300 housing assistance upon presentation of a lease agreement for a property located within 50 km of the head office and monthly receipts.
