Job Description
As a Alpine Racing Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the preparation, quality, availability, and traceability of Salomon racing skis for athletes and racing teams. You contribute to the excellence of Salomon Racing by delivering premium ski finishes, supporting production follow-up, managing inventory and logistics, and maintaining key workshop equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
1. Racing Ski Preparation and Finishing
- Perform the finishing of Salomon racing skis according to Racing standards.
- Carry out base grinding, stone grinding/structuring, and base preparation operations.
- Ensure the highest level of finishing quality for athletes and racing teams.
2. Racing Ski Production Follow-up
- Monitor racing skis throughout the production process.
- Verify product compliance and report any non-conformities.
- Work closely with Production, R&D, and Racing teams.
3. Ski Inventory and Logistics Management
- Organize and manage the inventory of racing skis and related consumables.
- Prepare shipments for athletes, ski technicians, and racing events.
- Ensure product traceability and stock availability.
4. Equipment Maintenance and Upkeep
- Carry out preventive maintenance and first-level servicing of ski preparation machines.
- Ensure equipment operates efficiently to maintain production continuity.
5. Inventory Management and Reporting
- Conduct regular inventories of skis, spare parts, and consumables.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update tracking systems.
- Provide regular reporting on inventory and operational activities.
