Job Description
🚀 Salomon is looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist!
Passionate about retail and operational marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing impactful commercial activations both online and offline. You will work closely with our retail partners and internal teams to maximize product visibility, drive sales, and strengthen Salomon’s brand image across our key markets.
This is a temporary contract for 5 months with the possibility to extend another 6 months to manage the Zalando account and additional missions for other pan European accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual and promotional marketing plans to drive sales growth within your scope of responsibility. Co-create strategic joint marketing plan with customer.
- Plan, create, and implement seasonal activations, events and marketing campaigns for assigned account.
- Enhance product visibility with retail partners, both online and in-store, through a variety of marketing strategies, including product launches and commercial activations.
- Monitor execution with markets and key customers, analyze KPIs, dashboards to understand effectiveness of the campaigns, as well as plan strategies to improve awareness, consideration or conversion.
- Lead specific projects in collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and specialized agencies to strengthen product appeal and increase conversion.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in operational marketing and/or trade marketing, ideally within the retail and/or sports industry.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs and optimize marketing plans.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or equivalent.
- Languages: Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.
- Tools: Proficiency in digital and office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
Fixed-term contract (5 months) starting in early August 2026, with the possibility of a 6-month extension.
Location open to Annecy, Paris, London, Barcelona, Munich, or Berlin.
