Job Description
Our team is growing! Reporting to the EMEA Marketing Director and working closely with Global, Regional, and Local Marketing teams, the EMEA Communication & Marketing Manager plays a key role in strengthening Salomon’s brand visibility, credibility, and consistency across the EMEA region.
Your mission is to lead the regional PR and Communication ecosystem, ensuring aligned, impactful, and performance‑driven communication across all markets and channels. You will act as a strategic counterpart to Brand and Marketing, bridging global direction with regional execution, agencies, media, and partners.
Lead EMEA PR & Communication Strategy
- Own and execute the regional PR strategy across EMEA, including budget management, KPI tracking, and stewardship of the PR scorecard.
- Drive PR, social media, influencer, and communication platforms to support brand and business objectives.
- Ensure regional alignment, consistency, and excellence across all communication touchpoints.
- Track, measure, and report on communication performance, ensuring on-time and high-quality reporting.
Act as Strategic Counterpart to Brand & Marketing
- Partner closely with Brand Marketing and Marketing teams to ensure integrated and aligned regional communication initiatives.
- Translate global marketing strategies into effective regional communication frameworks.
Develop Regional Communication Frameworks & Playbooks
- Develop, update, and govern a comprehensive Regional Communication Playbook to support marketing activations across epicenters.
- Set clear guidelines and best practices for PR, influence, media, and social execution across markets.
Lead EMEA Events & Media Planning
- Provide strategic guidance for key EMEA events and oversee regional execution in alignment with global strategies.
- Partner with markets /HQ on major global initiatives and events (e.g. Gravel World Tour, GTWS, UTMB, Fashion Weeks).
- Support the development and coordination of the regional media plan in close collaboration with global and local teams.
Oversee EMEA Ambassador & Influence Programs (Gravel)
- Support the management of the EMEA Ambassador program by defining influencer criteria and performance objectives.
- Ensure alignment between global strategy, regional priorities, and local market execution.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 10 years of experience in communication, PR, brand marketing, or agency background.
- Proven experience managing regional or multi‑market initiatives (EMEA preferred).
- Strong understanding of omnichannel shopping journeys and competitive benchmarks.
Education
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Languages
- English fluency required.
- Local language proficiency required.
IT Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
