We are looking for an intern to join the Supply Planning Softgoods team. At the heart of the S&OP process, Supply Planning plays a key role in the supply chain: it consists of translating commercial demand into a realistic production plan, taking into account industrial capacities and inventory targets, in order to ensure product availability while supporting business growth.
You will support the team in building, analysing, and managing the production plan, as well as monitoring supply chain performance.
Your main responsibilities:
- Contribute to defining production requirements based on demand signals, order book, and inventory strategy.
- Participate in building and updating the production plan with our industrial partners.
- Monitor plan execution and identify potential risks related to capacity, lead times, or supply.
- Prepare analyses to support supply planning reviews and operational decision-making within the S&OP process.
- Collaborate with internal teams (demand planning, sourcing, operations) to ensure alignment between demand, production, and inventory targets.
- Contribute to the implementation of responsible sourcing practices defined under the Fair Labor Association (FLA) framework, which governs our collaboration with industrial partners.
In parallel, you will contribute to a continuous improvement project aimed at strengthening supply chain monitoring tools:
- Improve or simplify existing dashboards and tracking tools.
- Contribute to the development of data visualization materials to facilitate analysis and decision-making.
This internship will allow you to:
- Discover the strategic role of supply planning within the S&OP process of an international company.
- Understand how production planning decisions are made in a global supply chain.
- Develop hands-on experience in operational data analysis and decision-support tools.
- Work in a multicultural environment, interacting with international teams and industrial partners.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree from an engineering or business school, with a specialization in supply chain
Skills
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure complex problems
- Interest in operations and supply chain planning
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate analyses clearly
- Strong collaboration skills in an international environment
Tools
- Advanced Excel required
- Knowledge of databases or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
Languages
- English: minimum C1 level
- French: professional level

At Salomon, internship compensation is structured as follows:
Internship allowance:
High school to Bachelor’s degree (Bac to Bac +3): €700 gross
Master’s level (Bac +4/+5): €950 gross
PhD: €1,200 gross
Housing allowance:
€300 housing support, upon presentation of a lease agreement for accommodation located.
