Job Description
Salomon is hiring a Business Marketing Controller (12‑month fixed-term contract) to strengthen its Finance team. You will work on the Marketing scope and support the teams in their operational and strategic decision‑making.
Your Responsibilities
Financial steering & analysis
- Ensure the reliability of the P&L and cash-flow for the Marketing perimeter.
- Produce and coordinate monthly reporting, including performance analysis versus budget, forecasts, and prior year.
- Build qualitative and holistic insights based on regular interactions with Marketing teams.
Business partnering & decision support
- Act as a true Business Partner to the Marketing teams.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and budget deviations, and propose appropriate action plans.
- Contribute to profitability improvement through financial simulations and targeted analyses.
Closing & financial processes
- Guarantee the accuracy of financial data (provisions, accounts, cost centers, etc.).
- Supervise the proper closing of accounting elements in collaboration with the Cost Controller.
- Raise alerts in the event of budget deviations or non‑compliance with internal procedures.
Collaboration & communication
- Work closely with the Marketing and Finance teams.
- Explain internal processes, train, and support your business partners.
- Deliver clear and synthetic reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree (Business School, Engineering School, or equivalent) with a specialization in Finance or Management Control.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in management control or business controlling, ideally in an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, analysis, and budget steering.
- IT : Excellent command of Excel, the Office suite, and ERP systems.
- Language : English: C1 level required.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical mindset, business acumen, ability to influence decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and high level of autonomy.
