Job Description
This position will report to the New Richmond facility on a hybrid basis with 1 to 2 days of remote work possible as business dictates.
Position Summary
The HR Shared Services & HR Generalist hybrid role supports both centralized HR operations and day-to-day employee relations within designated business units. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality HR service, ensuring consistent processes, supporting HR inquiries, and partnering with managers on people-related matters. The ideal candidate has strong HR operations expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for supporting employees throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with employees and managers to provide guidance on HR related topics.
- Oversee all aspects of new hire onboarding, including preboarding communications, HRIS setup, and new employee orientation.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for new employees throughout their first weeks.
- Assist with employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, culture-building activities, and surveys.
- Support annual HR processes such as compensation planning, talent reviews and succession planning.
- Serve as training coordinator for the US, managing the planning, scheduling, and execution of all employee training programs.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3 years of HR experience, HR operations, or HR generalist background.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems
- Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and U.S. employment law.
- Experience with HRIS tools (SuccessFactors and ADP preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a global manufacturing environment
- Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
Additional Information
The expected compensation range for this position starts at $76,000.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
