Salary range: $24.32 - $36.76 per hour
Target range: $24.80 to $29.18 per hour

Job Description

The LPL Registered Client Services Assistant provides high-level sales and administrative support to LPL Registered Financial Advisors by assisting with investment members, maintaining a FINRA compliant filing system and providing daily support to ensure administrative services are delivered in an efficient and timely manner.

Core Job Requirements/Outcomes

  • Support the overall business and production goals of the LPL Registered Financial Advisor by promptly following up and managing investment referrals, setting appointments, answering member questions, as well as performing other administrative tasks as requested.
  • Proactively assist with the Financial Advisor’s with administrative support by maintaining the calendar of activities/appointments and communicating any necessary changes, assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, preparing correspondence and making follow-up phone calls, etc.
  • Practice high quality member service standards in all interactions with members, prospective members, and employees in other departments within the credit union by responding quickly and appropriately to all requests and

Other Essential Functions

  • Process new account paperwork and enter member information into forms and or database systems.
  • Advise members on the status of orders or report trade prices.
  • Process member funds and securities, including electronic fund transfers or journals from a member’s self-advisory account.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to refer additional products or services to benefit the members and meet their needs.

Qualifications

Education: Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 

Certifications: Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses are preferred. Washington State Life Insurance license required.

Job Experience: Minimum two years’ member service and/or sales experience in a financial institution is required. Previous business development is preferred.

Software Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 10 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Travel Demands: Occasional travel is required upon request of the LPL Registered Operations Assistant Manager.
