Join our creative team as a Hair & Makeup Artist! Under the direction of the Casting Director, you will be at the heart of our studio, bringing our visual campaigns to life with your unique talent. You'll work closely with our production team to create looks that are both on-trend and true to our brand identity. Your tasks: 

  • Create visually stunning content: Develop and execute hair and makeup looks that align with SSENSE's brand identity and seasonal trends, contributing to online visual content.
  • Maintain high standards: Adhere to strict quality control standards, ensuring all work meets SSENSE's production and aesthetic guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively: Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets, providing support and guidance to new team members.
  • Stay updated: Continuously learn and adapt to industry trends, experimenting with new techniques and products to enhance skills.
  • Optimize processes: Proactively suggest improvements to workflows, tools, and techniques to increase efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

 How To Excel In This Role:

  • Diploma or certificate in relevant Cosmetology field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in editorial or commercial production, preferably in a luxury or e-commerce environment
  • Strong knowledge of all hair textures and makeup tones, tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of photography, models, & styling is an asset
