We are looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist who combines strategic thinking, strong client leadership, and a sharp understanding of digital growth.
Someone who can translate business challenges into impactful digital strategies, bring clarity to complexity, and confidently challenge ideas and stakeholders.
This is not a traditional marketing role.
We are looking for someone who thinks alongside clients and teams to connect strategy, creativity, data, and performance into meaningful impact.
This position is only open to candidates who will be employed directly by us. We are not working with contractors or agencies for this role.
Job Description
Good marketing isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what actually drives growth.
You're the strategic backbone between clients and our digital experts.
Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies and oversee their consistent, high-quality implementation across all channels
Spot relevant trends and translate them into inspiring sessions for clients and internal teams
Conduct strategic audits of existing marketing and digital approaches - and turn findings into clear direction
Define strategic frameworks that guide fellow strategists and execution teams
Pitch and develop new digital propositions with existing clients
Build deep understanding of clients' business goals, target audiences, and competitive landscape through close collaboration
Act as the strategic bridge between clients and our digital specialists across social media, influencer marketing, UX/UI, e-commerce, CRO, marketing automation, performance marketing, SEO and SEA, - guiding them on how strategy translates into delivery
Integrate AI into marketing strategies and operations - identifying where it drives real business value, and helping clients adopt it in a meaningful, future-proof way
You turn strategic direction into tangible outcomes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, digital ecosystems, and customer experience
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and the broader advertising landscape; ATL experience is a plus
- Able to translate business goals into impactful digital strategies, customer journeys, and scalable solutions
- A strategic thinker with strong storytelling and presentation skills who can turn complexity into clear direction and action
- Broad digital knowledge across SEO, SEA, social media, CRO, marketing automation, content, UX/UI, and e-commerce
- Commercially driven and analytically strong: you combine data, insights, and business thinking to drive growth
- Comfortable leading discovery trajectories, stakeholder conversations, and multidisciplinary teams from strategy to execution
- Curious about innovation and AI, with the ability to translate trends into practical business value
- Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus
