Job Description

Are you a highly organised, detail-focused professional who can confidently manage multiple priorities? LSTC is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sales Administrator to play a key role in improving quotation success, maintaining accurate sales information, and ensuring our sales and marketing activities run smoothly. 

About the Role

You’ll be at the heart of our sales operation, supporting bids, managing our CRM, coordinating marketing events, and helping to drive lead generation. This is a full-time role that can be based from our Hull or Driffield office. 

What You'll Be Doing

Sales Support

  • Help prepare, submit, and track quotations to improve conversion rates.
  • Gather valuable client feedback on bids to strengthen future tender strategies.
  • Keep sales documentation accurate, current, and audit-ready.
  • Maintain leads, opportunities, and customer data within our CRM system.
  • Provide hands-on administrative support for PQQs and tender submissions.

CRM & Document Management

  • Take ownership of the accuracy and organisation of sales records across our CRM and shared drives.
  • Champion best-practice document control and record-keeping processes.

Bid Portal Administration

  • Manage and monitor customer bid portals.
  • Download opportunities and upload submissions, ensuring deadlines are clearly tracked and met.
  • Keep meticulous records of tender activity and outcomes.

Customer & Meeting Support

  • Join the sales team in customer meetings when needed.
  • Capture meeting notes and minutes, ensuring actions are recorded and distributed promptly.

Marketing & Events Coordination

  • Support company marketing activities by attending conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Help plan and coordinate trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Help keep marketing materials and contact databases accurate and up to date.
  • Support lead generation activities arising from events and customer engagements.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Qualifications (Desirable)

  • A relevant sales, commercial, or marketing qualification.

Experience (Essential)

  • Previous experience in sales administration, business support, or commercial administration.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Experience (Desirable)

  • Tender administration, bid portals, or PQQ submission experience.
  • Background supporting marketing events, exhibitions, or trade shows.
  • Familiarity with engineering, consultancy, or professional services environments.
