Environmental Field Technician

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Environmental Field Technician to join our Environment & Safety division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Environmental Field Technician to join our Water and Environment team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background or interest in environmental sampling and monitoring, along with strong health and safety awareness, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
• Undertaking environmental and water sampling across multiple client sites
• Carrying out legionella monitoring, compliance inspections and site observations
• Producing technical reports and maintaining accurate records

To be a successful Environmental Field Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:
• A science-based qualification and full UK driving licence
• Strong organisational, communication and IT skills
• Ability to work safely across varied and safety-critical sites
