Job Description
Role Overview:
- Job Title: Bookkeeper and Accounts Administrator
- Job Type: Permanent
- Location: Rathnew, Co. Wicklow
- Hours: 39 Hours p/w
- Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 p/a DOE
Overview of Role:
- Perform day to day Bookkeeping duties to include Sales/Purchase Ledger, VAT Regulations / Intra-EU, Import,
- Export and Vat rules
- Liaising with Procurement
- Assisting with SGS reporting as required on periodical basis
- Perform data input, reporting and analysis of SAGE and RGC CRM systems
- Competent use of MS Office – Word / Excel as required
- Maintain and record analysis of RGC Timesheets and preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting for
- Management
- Processing expense claims
- Management of stock control – consisting of stock spot check, Month End Stock report
- Assisting the company accountant as required with additional duties
Qualifications
- Accounting Technician Ireland (ATI) Level 4/5 qualification or a recognised Bookkeeping certification.
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, or a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate financial records and processing financial transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Team player, contributes positively to the achievement of the team objectives
- Self-starter, detail oriented, extremely well organised, and able to manage time and multi-task
- Strong work ethic and flexibility
- Ability to deal with stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
- Strong PC skills including Excel, MS Office: Outlook, Teams, Word
