Job Description

The Health, Safety and Pollution Control Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring occupational health and safety programs, environmental compliance activities, and pollution control initiatives to ensure compliance with company requirements, regulatory obligations, and management system standards. The position supports the implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) programs, risk management activities, incident prevention initiatives, environmental monitoring, waste management programs, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education: College graduate in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Safety and Health, or another science- or engineering-related course. Relevant professional license, Pollution Control Officer accreditation, and occupational safety training are preferred or required when applicable to the appointment.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety, environmental compliance, pollution control, or laboratory operations. Experience coordinating regulatory permits, environmental reports, waste management, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations is an advantage. Experience: 3-5 years in QA or QC work or 1-2 years supervisory or related experience in Lab environment.

  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training.
  • Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
  • First Aid, Fire Safety, and Emergency Response Training.
