Job Description
Review incoming job orders and verify all necessary documents are provided and in order.
- Prepare and send the following documents e.g., Instruction to Inspectors which includes the scope of work, target budget for the job/project, type of inspectors to be deployed, duration of inspection, and other pertinent instructions based on the specifics of the job/project.
- Ensure that the inspection budget and expenses are tracked and controlled.
- Ensure that the technical and commercial matters related to a project/job are clear, reviewed, and approved by the Industrial Services Head, and understood by the responsible inspector/s.
- Ensure that concerns during the job/project are clearly communicated to the client with regular follow throughs and monitoring. Any major concerns are elevated to the Industrial Services Head.
- Coordinate with the client representative for any technical or commercial issues that may be encountered during the job/project deployment and seek workable solutions with the approval of the Industrial Services Head.
- Ensure that technical support is provided to the inspection team and/or client.
- Work with the inspector and report reviewer for the timely completion of the reports.
- Track the timeliness of inspection and job reports and ensure that service invoice are timely issued and submitted to the client along with the report.
- Maintain job files and other quality records.
- Conduct ocular inspection and/or aid the inspection team during peak activities as needed.
- Conduct regular Operational Integrity and Operational Level audits for jobs/projects.
- At all times, adopt a safe behavior by exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS employees and clients, in line with SGS policies and procedures.
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
- Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in collaboration or departmental goals or for
his/her personal or professional training, education, or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior. - Complies with the QHSE policies
Qualifications
College graduate, preferably with background in engineering (civil, industrial, mechanical)

- Knowledge in the supply chain for energy, oil & gas, construction, and/or manufacturing industries/sectors (stakeholders, trends/shifts, competition, processes, regulations & guidelines, etc.)
