Job Description

  • Research and develop aggressive strategies and plan for upstream Oil, Gas Laboratory, Field Services, Production Chemicals related opportunities through existing and new client with the ability to drive the revenue.
  • Maintain high level professionalism with client’s top management.
  • Develop and implement mid- to long-term business strategies aligned with Group initiatives, client expectations, and revenue and profit targets.
  • Lead local sales growth by identifying business opportunities, managing sales and operating budgets, and evaluating business performance to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Lead and involve in the project proposal submission technically and commercially.
  • Drive new business growth and build critical mass within agreed timeframes in target regions.
  • Manage relationships with the in country team and ensure effective service levels.
  • Collaborate with SGS other line of business toward development and success of SGS business in Malaysia.
  • Monitor and analyze market forecast and business trends to understand client activity trend for downstream business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic Upstream/downstream/ Renewable Energy business plans to grow the business to align with the market and company goals.
  • Deliver agreed country goals including revenue and profits/LC targets (budgeted local contribution) for downstream business.
  • Initiate the development of new services and products to meet emerging market needs.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Science from recognized university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in related business activity with minimum 5 years in management level with full P&L responsibility and experience leading the business function in sales marketing or technical operation.
  • Preferably 8-10 year’s experience or involvement in local or regional oil and gas service industry with understanding in QSHE, sales and marketing and technical execution.
  • Experience in strategic marketing, sales and operation, ie: planning, budgeting, cost control, people management as well as full P&L responsibility.

Frequent traveling within Malaysia and another affiliate/region when required.
