We are looking for a motivated and technically competent Testing Engineer to join our Electrical Laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting testing activities for RF products, Passive Components, Household Appliances, IT/AV Equipment, and Electrical Safety testing in accordance with international standards and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory requirements.
Job Description
- Perform testing activities for RF products, passive components, Fiber optical products, household appliances, IT and AV equipment, and electrical safety evaluations.
- Conduct testing as per applicable international standards such as IEC, EN, CISPR, ETSI, IEC 60335 series, IEC 62368-1, IEC 60204, IEC 60794, IEC 61156,IEC 61196,IEC 62153 and IEC 61010 series.
- Prepare and review technical test reports accurately and within timelines.
- Operate and maintain laboratory test equipment and instruments.
- Support calibration, maintenance, and verification activities for laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and laboratory quality procedures.
- Assist during internal audits, external audits, and accreditation assessments.
- Coordinate with customers and certification bodies for technical clarifications when required.
- Maintain proper records of testing activities and laboratory data.
- Follow laboratory safety requirements and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an accredited electrical or electronics testing laboratory preferred.
- Experience in RF testing, safety testing, household appliance testing, IT/AV equipment testing, or passive component evaluation.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory systems is preferred.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic testing principles.
- Familiarity with international product safety and EMC/RF standards.
- Ability to interpret technical standards and schematics.
- Experience in handling laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power analyzers, and safety test equipment.
- Good report writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
