Job Description
We’re looking for a Compliance & Systems Coordinator to support our laboratory operations across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of compliance & systems and wants to make a real impact on how sites operate safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll work closely with site teams to keep compliance on track and support operational improvements with a focus on digitisation.
Responsibilities include however, not limited to:
- Use PowerBI and PowerAutomate to support operations & reduce manual tasks.
- Develop and manage a compliance schedule to help sites meet key deadlines.
- Set up and maintain digital filing systems & dashboards for compliance documents.
- Support and share best practices across sites
- Visit sites (approx. 5 days per month) to review compliance, observe operations, and support new initiatives
- Conduct compliance audits and support laboratory operations
- Train site teams on systems, including document management and LMS usage
- Ensure staff training is current and records are accurate and accessible
- Maintain registers (e.g. chemical, equipment, and classified plant)
- Assist with updating site documentation (SOPs, safety plans, procedures)
- Help close out non-conformances (NCs) and identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with Power Automate & Power BI
- Qualification in Chemistry or a related field
- Experience in a laboratory environment with chemical knowledge
- Strong understanding of compliance systems and quality standards (ISO 9001)
- Experience with administration and digital systems
- Confident using systems such as LIMS (CCLAS preferred)
- Strong communication skills and experience supporting or leading teams
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
