Job Description
In this role you will provide efficient and comprehensive administrative and back-office support to SGS's global internal audit team, enabling smooth operation of audit activities. The role supports global auditors and management who travel frequently by finalizing reports, managing logistics, and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information. This includes maintaining documentation standards in accordance with The IIA Code of Ethics and supporting the internal audit software and reporting systems.
The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
- Format, finalize, and edit audit reports and communications in professional business English.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for travel arrangements, including bookings, visa applications, and itineraries for global colleagues.
- Maintain and support the use of audit management software, including user guidance and follow-up reporting.
- Prepare draft presentations, correspondence, or documents as needed by the Head of Group Internal Audit and audit leadership.
- Maintain proper filing and version control for key audit documentation.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly and with integrity.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for new audit team members.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Higher education diploma (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
- Proven administration experience with strong organisational discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Excel: confident with formulas, data organisation, formatting, and basic analysis
- PowerPoint: ability to create clear, polished presentations
- Word: strong document formatting, layout, and editing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including:
- SharePoint: navigating document libraries, managing files, version control
- Teams: meetings, channels, document sharing, and daily collaboration
- OneDrive: file management and cloud‐based workflows
- Microsoft Copilot: comfortable using AI tools to draft, summarise, and improve documents
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional written and spoken English, with strong grammar and formatting capability.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Able to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable collaborating across time zones.
Desirable:
- Experience in an international company, professional services environment, or Big 4 audit firm.
- Additional language skills are beneficial.
