Job Description

Sales executive in the Hardline business is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to provide testing, inspection and certification (TIC) solutions that align with client needs, industry trends, and sustainability goals. This involves a mix of relationship-building, sales strategy, industry knowledge, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for business growth within the Hardline industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to leverage opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to promote our Hardline solutions, targeting new clients
  • Identify and qualify potential leads, nurturing them through the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operation, customer service, technician and other region frontlines, to ensure seamless execution of client projects and exceptional service delivery.
  • Create compelling and customized proposals that align with client needs and showcase the value of our TIC solutions.
  • Drive sustainable business growth by meeting or exceeding revenue targets set by the company's leadership.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices, incorporating this knowledge into client interactions and solution development.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and expand its client base.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts using Company tools.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding meeting minutes, sales performance, market insights/analysis, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience working in the TIC industry and specifically in fields related to the SGS Business Lines (Consumer Products)
  • Experience in working within a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business growth objectives.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required
  • Postgraduate-level intellectual abilities; academic and/or professional qualifications in any discipline are recognized if the candidate demonstrates the ability to apply learning skills to the role.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Native level Germany language are required.
