Job Description
Performs Business Development and Sales Support activities for Specialty and PFAS lab services across the country (either Canada or U.S.). Coordinates between the management team, product development teams, the sales teams, and marketing teams to ensure SGS meets the existing and future needs of clients while providing exceptional customer service. Works with senior management on developing and implementing product and services strategy. Presents technical/application information at conferences, and in client meetings, and works with clients to elucidate and communicate testing needs, project design, and other considerations.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Meet or exceed revenue growth targets for SGS NAM Specialty and PFAS testing labs
Develop relationships with key target clients at all levels (Project Management, Chemists, Senior Leadership team) in assigned geography.
Creation of sales funnel for key large projects
Promote One SGS offerings across NAM EHS and globally to include specialty as well as Conventional, Industrial Hygiene, Built Environment, Specialty, along with other SGS divisions.
Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify opportunities and represent specialty testing and One SGS
Create Strategic Partnerships that would be beneficial both to SGS and our clients
Provide presentations to Decision Makers, Chemists and Senior Leadership regarding SGS specialty capabilities
Develop relationships to create a “Top Down” influence in the organization of the clients
Identify the organization structure and decision maker matrix to provide to the regional sales team
Partner with the internal SGS team to help identify solutions for client needs
Identify service and product development opportunities based on client feedback to expand client offerings
Present state-of-the-art technology developments and innovative solutions as a part of our service portfolio to support the needs of the clients
Provide continual feedback on market needs
Collaboration with marketing to organize client communication and collateral as well as proposal preparation
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Science Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Physical and Environmental Sciences lab Required
