Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Solution Engineer to support the global rollout of Oracle Fusion ERP across multiple regions. This position plays a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing scalable ERP solutions that align with global processes and regional compliance needs.

As part of the Corporate Information Technology team, you will serve as a senior techno‑functional expert, collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and implementation teams to ensure end‑to‑end process alignment and high‑quality delivery.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Support solution design reviews and assess technical feasibility within Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Collaborate with architects and implementation teams to fulfil solution requirements.
  • Apply SGS Enterprise Architecture and Security standards for compliance and scalability.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Work with Global Process Owners and IT stakeholders to capture requirements.
  • Perform fit‑gap analysis between Oracle standard functionality and business needs.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical solutions and validate related documentation.

Build & Setup

  • Develop and optimize reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Review and validate technical designs across all application development activities.

Integration & Data Migration

  • Define integration strategies and oversee implementations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.
  • Support data migration using FBDI and ADFDi, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Analyze and optimize data models and system architecture for performance and reliability.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Prepare and execute test plans for SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Validate technical impact assessments and ensure timely defect resolution.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement role‑based access controls.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX, GDPR, and internal SGS security standards.
  • Validate that solutions meet security, scalability, maintainability, and performance requirements.

Change Management & Training

  • Support global change management initiatives and provide technical training to users.
  • Enable adoption of new functionalities and enhancements.

Deployment & Hypercare

  • Coordinate deployment activities across regions.
  • Provide hypercare support and troubleshoot technical issues post go‑live.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on new Oracle Fusion ERP releases and features.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience implementing Oracle Fusion ERP (Financials, Procurement, Projects).
  • Strong understanding of global business processes, compliance, and software lifecycle management.

Hands‑on experience with:

  • REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and Oracle Integration Cloud or similar middleware.
  • OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Transactional BI.
  • Cloud & SaaS fundamentals, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Personalization & extension tools (Page Composer, Application Composer with Groovy, Sandbox Framework, Visual Builder Studio).
  • Security Console for role‑based access and segregation of duties.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment.
  • Proactive, independent, and committed to continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2
