Job Description
- Manage all electrical site inspection activities.
- Verifying of all electrical engineering deliverables.
- Ensuring that the Work or Service is executed in compliance with Company’s HSE Policy and its
- associated Procedures and Specifications.
- Attend stage wise witness and hold points as per approved ITP.
- Inspect and sign off for all electrical inspection reports.
- Receiving inspection of project materials.
- Inspect Cathodic Protection works and sign off reports.
- Conduct Site acceptance test with operation of Company.
- Attending daily progress meeting with EPC contractor and highlight any issues and concerns
- related to site activities.
- Review electrical ITPs and Method statements.
- Checking and certifying red mark up and final as built drawings.
- Review of all additional works related to electrical activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum NACE Cathodic Protection Level 2 certification
- Shall have Ex Equipment inspection certification.
- Minimum of 6 years as an Electrical / CP Inspector responsible for inspection activities of
- medium size to major EPC Projects related to Oil and Gas Industries.
- Knowledge on protection for different electrical system.
- Minimum 3 years’ inspection experience with mega plant/pipeline projects.
- Have knowledge of industrial codes (NEC, CEC, IEC, IEE, UL, NFPA, ISO 9001, etc.).
- Shall be fully conversant with PDO SP/ Shell DEP / international codes and standards for
- Electrical works.
- Shall be familiar with the process of issuing NCR for the non-conformity observed and its close
- out process.
- Should be able to use computer and programs (email, word processing and spreadsheets
- as a minimum) for general business applications.
- Written and oral communication skills with both individuals and groups.
- Read, write and speak English. Willing to travel occasionally if required.
