Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Technical Project Manager (TPM) is a critical, cross functional role that combines deep technical knowledge with expert project management skills and commercial acumen. The TPM is responsible for bridging the gap between technical development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that software projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business goals.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Define and document project scope, objectives, requirements, and success criteria, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Implement and enforce project methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Agile) for efficient workflow
  • Act as the main communication bridge between technical teams (engineers, architects) and nontechnical stakeholders (product managers, executives, clients)
  • Provide clear, concise, and regular project status updates, resolving conflicts, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Coordinate work across various cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product, QA, Operations).
  • Exceptional Communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to "translate" technical details for a non-technical audience
  • Ethical mindset with commitment to responsible AI principles.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Preferred Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree (MBA, MS in AI, Data Analytics, or Technology           Preferred Management)
  • Continuous professional development or certification in AI/ML           Preferred (e.g., Google AI, Microsoft Azure AI, or Stanford AI Professional Program) are advantageous.
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in business strategy, Required digitcal transformation, or technology leadership roles.
  • 3-5 years leading AI, analytics, or machine learning projects with Preferred measurable impact.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and budgets Preferred
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
