Job Description

  • Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple databases using joins and grouping techniques.
  • Design, create, and maintain complex, parameterized SSIS packages, including managing transactions and generating configuration scripts for deployments.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports using stored procedures, ensuring proper formatting and delivery through standard and data-driven subscriptions.
  • Utilize source control systems for code versioning, including branching, merging, and shelving strategies.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database objects, processes, packages, and reports in accordance with internal standards.
  • Apply SQL Server cumulative updates and ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
  • Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in database development.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Certifications

  • Microsoft certifications related to database development are preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written B2-C1).
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in:
    • T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS
    • Object-Oriented Design, Functional Programming, Unit Testing
    • Software design patterns, data encapsulation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations.
