Job Description

Position Summary

Brand Services forms the interface between the bluesign ® system partner brand and bluesign as an organization. Brand Services ensures, the bluesign ® system partner brand fulfills the bluesign ® criteria for brands. Our approach enables the brand organization to understand and improve its chemical integrity, product stewardship and due diligence frameworks.   *Depending on where you are within your sustainability journey - we are identifying the gaps, we are setting the priorities, we are developing the roadmap towards excellence*.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • MBS must adhere to the given sustainable growth of bluesign, in line with its strategy and budget goals MBS must adhere to the integrity of the bluesign® system, by consistent application of bluesign® criteria
  • MBS must assure, that assessment process and follow-up result in achieving compliance with bluesign® criteria
  • Work with brands to gather their supplier facility level information, iterating with brand/client to improve completeness and overall accuracy of supplier information.
  • Improve the completeness, accuracy and overall integrity of the brand supplier information found in the bluesign system.
  • Develop and implement tactics, procedures and process to continually improve the accuracy and completeness of the supplier information obtained and managed by bluesign.
  • Manages transfer and the follow up back to the brands of the supply chain information to CRM
  • Keeps good relations to CRM / CER and other divisions / departments
  • Represents bluesign organization
  • Manages individual workload
  • Responsible for the internship program if applicable
  • Initiates and follows up on Supply Chain Analysis
  • Supports Supply Chain engagement and supplier/facility onboarding
  • Supports development of new documents, tools, frameworks, work flows
  • Exchange within the team regarding the bluesign brand assessment process, as well as day to day business with bluesign® system partner brands
  • Sharing expertise with other divisions/departments in selected matters regarding Brand Services, creating highest customer satisfaction
  • Supports Head of Brand Service, improving efficiency of the brand assessment process, as well as strengthen the implementation of the bluesign® system

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering or Equivalent  
  • Profound knowlege in the field of textile materials (fabrics and trims), product design and development process for apparel, footwear and other textile product categories
  • Profound sourcing and textile supply chain knowledge                            
  • Professional experience
  • Customer Service Experience
