Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist ABB Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. 

ABB Control systems detailed design, coding and commissioning for Oil and Gas and Geothermal Production Station on both Green Field and Brown Field projects

The work entails some optimization of existing ABB process control code as well as obsolescence ABB upgrades projects. 

The work will be predominantly based in the central North Island.  Ideally based in the Waikato or Taranaki regions, but we will consider skilled candidates from other regions,

Technologies include:

  • 800xA, AC800, Harmony and Freelance.
  • Experience on other technologies will be looked upon favorably including Rockwell, Delta V, Bailey and/or Siemens

Qualifications

  • Degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or relevant subject.

  • 5 - 10 years relevant work experience in heavy industries

  • Functional Safety qualification (Exida, TUV, ISA) in process or equivalent industry qualification
