Job Description

  • Prepare, review and update environmental report and site assessments report for customers.
  • Provide technical support for environmental field services and site assessments projects.
  • Collecting all relevant data/information for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing all fields monitoring job but not limited to stack air monitoring, ambient monitoring, boundary noise, water sampling, and environmental site assessment report.
  • Maintaining all files and client report.
  • Liaising with clients whenever required and requested.
  • Maintaining good communication with client, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure projects running smoothly.
  • Analyze scientific data and do quality-control checks.
  • Attend site visit for the sampling, inspection or testing (if required).
  • Assist Operation Manager to supervise and co-ordinate job scheduling, manpower control and allocation within the department.
  • Assist superior to plan, organize and control the day to day operations of jobs within the department.
  • Assist the Operation Manager in the development of existing and new business through regular client contacts.
  • Assist Safety and Health Committee members in organizing and implementing safety and health programmed at workplace, safety promotion campaign and others.
  • Shall demonstrate commitment to the continual improvement of Health & Safety and Environment (HSE) performance.
  • Carry out any other instruction made by employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Adherence to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities in executing, fulfilling and ensuring at all times the compliance of the QMS requirements.
  • Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • College degree in Engineering, Science or related degree in Environmental
  • 1 -2 years’ experience in related field
