Job Title: General Operations Manager

Job Description
The successful candidate will have full ownership of our food testing site – to deliver key metrics relating to customer, people, financial and QHSE performance. You will steer key business changes to drive customer satisfaction and financial success.
- Responsible for the delivery of laboratory services at Cambridge in accordance with customer requirements and company objectives
- Drive performance at all levels – leading from the front
- Identify areas for process improvement, driving initiatives and managing projects
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and UKAS accreditations
- Promote and develop continuous improvement across the site
- Full accountability for site financial performance
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a wealth of experience in:
- Change management at a high level
- Considerable experience at a leadership level within the service industry
- Directly dealing with clients to resolve any issues / complaints
You will also have the following:
- Proven experience of managing an operation of over 50 people
- Managing operations over £8 million turnover
- Direct line management
- Full UK Driving license
