Job Description
Strategic & Supply Chain System Development Expectations
- System Design Blueprint
- Develop a comprehensive plan and business requirements for the inventory monitoring system, including scope, features, data sources, optimization and integration points.
- Technology Selection & Integration
- Identify and recommend appropriate software/tools (e.g., ERP, WMS, BI tools) for inventory tracking and analytics.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems (e.g., procurement, sales, finance).
- Project Roadmap & Milestones
- Define clear phases, timelines, and deliverables for system development and deployment.
Operational & Performance Outputs
- Real-Time Inventory Dashboard
- Deliver a user-friendly dashboard that provides real-time visibility into inventory levels, stock movements, and reorder alerts.
- Inventory Accuracy Reports
- Generate regular reports comparing system data with physical counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Supply Chain Metrics
- Implement KPIs such as inventory turnover, days of inventory on hand (DOH), stockout rates and On-time delivery metrics.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Establish SOPs for inventory tracking, data entry, and exception handling.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to align inventory goals and ensure data consistency.
- Training & Change Management
- Lead training sessions for team members on the new system and processes.
- Manage change effectively to ensure smooth adoption.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants preferred to be Chemical Engineers, Industrial Engineers, or professionals from allied engineering fields with experience in supply chain management.
