• Work towards achieving a defined set of annual deliverables as approved by UAE University (UAEU).

• Provide technical advice on all relevant health and safety issues to colleges and departments.

• Support UAEU in ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory health and safety obligations.

• Assist departments in conducting risk assessments, developing appropriate policies and procedures, and implementing effective control measures.

• Perform periodic health and safety inspections in line with relevant legislation and UAEU policies.

• Act as a liaison between the university and local authorities on health and safety matters, including compliance with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• This role is only open for UAE nationals.
