Job Description
Work towards achieving a defined set of annual deliverables as approved by UAE University (UAEU).
Provide technical advice on all relevant health and safety issues to colleges and departments.
Support UAEU in ensuring compliance with all applicable statutory health and safety obligations.
Assist departments in conducting risk assessments, developing appropriate policies and procedures, and implementing effective control measures.
Perform periodic health and safety inspections in line with relevant legislation and UAEU policies.
Act as a liaison between the university and local authorities on health and safety matters, including compliance with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- This role is only open for UAE nationals.
