We are currently hiring Regional Compliance Manager who will be responsible for promoting a culture of integrity within the region and for setting up and supervising regional/local compliance structures to manage integrity risks as well as perform integrity assessments, and investigations.
Job Description
- Promote corporate integrity rules, policies, and guidelines in the region
- Advise on the implementation and monitoring of integrity controls in regional/local operational processes
- Collaborate with regional/local internal and external stakeholders to manage integrity risks
- Investigate compliance concerns, reports of misconduct, or potential violations. Take appropriate corrective action and report findings to management
- Empower, engage, educate, and train management and employees on integrity risks
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance risk and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
- Collaborate with various departments, such as legal, finance, and human resources, to address compliance-related issues
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance compliance processes
- Perform periodic field visits in the region
Qualifications
- University degree in law, business management or similar fields
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience working in similar industries in multinational organizations
- Experience working with risk, ethics, integrity and/or compliance in Middle East with international or regional responsibilities
- Certified Fraud Examiner qualified
- Experience working within a matrix organization
- Experience in conducting internal audits, investigations, and assessments to identify and rectify compliance issues
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of written and spoken Arabic is desirable.
