Job Description
- Shall review and check deliveries before issues are made to ensure they tally with original prints received and before issuance to farmers
- Verification of farmer contracts and attachments before contracting
- Perform monthly inputs stock reconciliations between physical and book stocks and ensure variances are explained and reconciled immediately
- Check and take stock of all inputs kept in the station to ensure no loss
- Timely compile and forward accurate monthly reports to the Leaf Growing and Information Control as per the pre-determined cut-off dates
- Ensure that all the records relating to the outgrowing stations are forwarded to LGIC for keeping as per the BAT(K) records management policy
- Ensure smooth running of crop buying operations
- Carry out weekly crop stock reconciliation and ensure variances are reported and followed up
- Ensure that any day-to-day administrative activities are carried out promptly and that confidentiality is always maintained
- Ensure services such as water, electricity, sanitation is available for smooth running of the leaf centres or baling sheds, compound and buildings are clean and well maintained. Proper house and records keeping is maintained in the leaf centres
- Ensure compliance to QHSE procedures and policies for the company and client’s
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
- Carry out any other assignment as may be advised from time to time
Qualifications
- Hold a Diploma in Statistics, Business Administration, or any a business-related course
- Have at least 1 year working experience in data management
- Have a valid certificate of good conduct
- Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – grassroot experience preferred.
- Sensitive to set timelines and targets
- Physically fit, hardworking, honest and performance driven
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Basic knowledge of HSE standards
- Demonstrate to the management the ability to handle challenges of this position.
