Job Description

  • Record and proofread legal documents;
  • Support in drafting and reviewing of legal documents;
  • Handle all physical and digital archiving of documents, records and reports. Building and maintaining databases and files;
  • Reviewing and organizing old files and documents;
  • Manage & organize the daily administrative functions while focusing on priority issues, chasing responses and triggering follow-up action when required;
  • Performing due diligence on contracts and business agreements;
  • Performing legal and factual research;
  • Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations;
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations;
  • Organizing and analyzing information;
  • Handling transactions with authorities including but not limited MOA update, secretary amendment, etc
  • Preparing correspondence, resolutions, minutes of meetings and alike;
  • Organizing and tracking case files;
  • Coordinating with law office activities;
  • Support in handling multiple cases management responsibilities;
  • Arranging and coordinating for translations and attestations of documents as and when required;
  • Process third party and vendor invoices
  • Coordinate with the other functions of the business as required;
  • Preparing and managing regular legal summaries and reports;
  • General support for smooth operations of legal dept.

Qualifications

  • Law Graduate, Diploma, Degree, other (preferably Law related unless candidate has sufficient relevant experience)
  • Previous Legal Associate or equivalent experience, ideally in the Middle East
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferably in-house corporate experience

Additional Information

  • Good Knowledge of local and federal laws in the Middle East
  • Good command of spoken and written English (Arabic would be an advantage)
