Job Description

Are you a highly motivated team player with a passion for product development and implementation? We're looking for someone like you to manage our product portfolio and oversee the development and implementation of our tools and services. In this highly interactive and market-focused role, you'll have the opportunity to learn something new every day and make a real impact on our business.

Major Responsibilities

  • Take charge of building and managing our product portfolio to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with the team, customers and market trends to generate and take up new ideas for products and services.
  • Support the development and implementation of cutting-edge products and services that meet the needs of our customers and the market.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market analyses, including trend analysis, consumer behavior, market shares, market saturation, competitors' analyses and forecasting.
  • Define and describe product-related specifications, volume and functional goals, and costs to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
  • Work closely with the Sales/CRM team to define our Product/Market strategy and ensure that our products are aligned with our company goals.
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about the sustainable value chain and bring this expertise to everything you do.
  • Develop new training and sales promotion materials to ensure that our sales team has everything they need to promote our products and services effectively.

Ideal Profile

  • A degree in Textile Processing and in Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management
  • Strong industry-specific experience in the textile value chain (Brand, Manufacturing, Chemistry, because we want someone who knows the industry inside and out)
  • Strong Marketing experience (because we need someone who knows how to get things running)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively (because we want someone who can be a team player, but also has the self-motivation to get things done on their own)
  • Experience in designing and executing research projects to identify customer habits and practices, satisfaction levels, product concept development, usage and awareness, purchase drivers, and branding and positioning (because we need someone who can be both analytical and creative)

Qualifications

Personal Skills

  • Market analysis and project management skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German (as we are looking for someone who can communicate with customers and colleagues around the world)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Extreme customer-centric, customer success perspective (because we want someone who's as dedicated to our customers' success).
  • Travel experience (worldwide and regional, because we need someone who's ready to hit the road and take our message to the masses)
