We're looking for a Business Process Optimization Manager who will will support the Global Business Services (GBS) strategy by managing the study and developing optimisation changes to the organisation's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability.
Job Description
Specific responsibilities will be:
- Conducting research on best practices and industry trends for the business;
- In-depth analysiing of existing workflows, processes and reporting;
- Defining existing processes and identifying areas needing improvement, utilizing flowcharts and process maps;
- Engaging and organizing subject matter experts and cross-functional groups in business to collect inputs;
- Leading cross-functional teams to design and implement process optimization initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies;
- Challenging the performance of current processes/ systems by end-to-end reviews;
- Implementing the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions;
- Identifying and driving improvement projects to introduces new business processes, targeting customer satisfaction, cost improvement and efficiencies, to the organization;
- Developing & updating process documentation, work instructions and other tools to support execution;
- Monitoring project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies;
- Communicating project status, progress and risks to stakeholders, including senior management;
- Driving the process/ workflow automation/improvement together with Business;
- Partnering with various stakeholders within the organisation to ensure regulatory compliance or possible automation;
- Ensuring project delivery is in accordance with project scope, timeline and budget and Post implementation, monitor the success of improvement plans;
- Mentoring and coaching team members to build their project management and process optimization skills using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies;
- Continually challenging conventional thinking and drive accountability for operational results for all organizational structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading process analysis and redesign efforts utilizing lean methodology;
- Demonstrated experience leading others in process analysis and redesign initiatives;
- Proven experience in delivering operational business results in a service environment;
- Considerable skills in process improvement, business transformation, customer service, communication, leadership, problem solving and team building;
- Ability to create detailed project plans and high-level milestones across cross functional teams to ensure projects are on track;
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and communicate to management any concerns regarding resources, timeline obstacles and prioritization;
- Excellent collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required;
- Knowledge of MS Project and other project management tools a plus;
- Strong presentation skills and ability to create presentations;
- Fluency in English.
