  • Global LIMS DQM Manager
  • Administratively to IT Shared Services Director

 

Primary Responsibilities    

  • Setup and maintenance on SGS LIMS solutions which benefit and support the Digital Laboratory Program.
  • Communicate with global and regional technical staff to help drive LIMS solutions supporting the Digital Laboratory Program.
  • Ensure the full setup of LIMS global template within the Digital Laboratory Program strategy, from cradle to grave, facilitating the full implementation.

Specific Responsibilities   

  • Comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct at all times.
  • Responsible to define, produce and maintain the global LIMS templates to be used in the deployment
  • Contribute to define the governance rules on the LIMS test method structure and any master data such as regulation limits, pricing (and all related group), QC Masks, etc.
  • Drive and maintain the standardization of master data in LIMS, including associated guidelines, following the specific business rules
  • Test system for validating the global master data structure in LIMS according to business requirements
  • Contribute to define and maintain the UAT plan and associated testing scripts based on the busines scenarios (URS) and functional specifications (FRS)
  • Execute functional testing on major releases
  • Ensure appropriate quality and global processes are being followed for LIMS setup related activities
  • Responsible for the initial configuration of LIMS related product during the pilot phase.
  • Collaborate with the business and GPO business process owners to design the new test method when a new structure is required

  • Execute the system functional testing

  • Maintain documentation about the LIMS setup for core and integration specifications (BOSS Interfaces, Security & Roles, Global Naming conventions, Global Reports)
  • Collaborate with the LIMS delivery team in the definition of the Functional Requirements Specifications, if there is no acceptable solution within the available LIMS dynamicity
  • Collaborate with LIMS support to facilitate LIMS related issues resolution.

Qualifications

  • College Graduate preferably related to Chemistry or Information Technology
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience on LIMS
  • Knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) process
  • Fluency in English, other language(s) an additional benefit

Additional Information

  • Knowledge and expertise in LIMS process
    - Understand end-to-end lab process from client confirming order to report giving to clients and invoicing
    - Understand how analytical tests and associated instrumentation are performed
    - Understand the lab quality control principle – the real test quality control in order to control our risk, not just satisfy ISO auditor
    - Understand the testing report logic
