Job Description
The Salesforce Marketing Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing engagement across both customer segments of the marketplace, hirers and candidates through innovative omni-channel marketing strategies.
This role bridges the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution, with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other campaign management platforms.
The Role
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and be a technical consultant throughout the process from campaign planning to ensure the solution is fit for purpose and is scalable
- Build, test, and deploy and continuously optimise multi-step campaign/journeys in SFMC using advanced AMPScript and SSJS. Oversee campaign go-live processes and post-launch maintenance to ensure sustained performance
- Work with technology teams to ensure integrations between systems; Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Salesforce CRM and other downstream system like activation channel through partners on App Exchange work seamlessly
- Serve as a role model within the functional team by driving innovation and maintaining a deep understanding of the evolving technology landscape, emerging trends, and new channels of engagement
The Team
The Regional CRM Jobseeker Lead reports directly to the Senior Manager Platform Operations and delivery within Customer Engagement and is instrumental in driving growth through omni-channel marketing automation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar tools.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
- 5+ years' hands-on experience across Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules, including Automation Studio, Query Studio, Journey Builder, Data Views, Mobile Connect, Tracking Reports, Audience Builder, CloudPages, Data Extensions and Mobile Push;
- Strong proficiency in SFMC scripting languages, including SSJS and AMPscript;
- Proven experience integrating across the Salesforce ecosystem (including platforms like Databricks) and working with APIs to connect systems;
- Solid HTML/CSS skills for email development and troubleshooting;
- Demonstrable analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful customer insights;
- Demonstrable project management skills, with familiarity with tools like Jira, Monday.com or Confluence desirable; and
- Experience partnering with third-party vendors (AppExchange partners) to build custom, API-driven flows that enable bi-directional data flow is strongly desirable.
