We are experiencing strong growth across Queensland and are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Brisbane based service team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will provide technical support, maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics and repair services across Queensland and interstate locations.

Working within industrial environments, you will support customers across:

• Water & Wastewater Utilities
• Power Generation
• Oil & Gas
• LNG Facilities
• Mining & Mineral Processing
• Manufacturing & Process Industries
• Ports & Infrastructure

You will be responsible for:

• Commissioning, servicing and fault finding on electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Breakdown response and technical troubleshooting
• Installation and retrofit projects
• Testing, calibration and verification of equipment
• Producing detailed service and technical reports
• Providing technical support directly to customers and site personnel
• Identifying opportunities for upgrades and equipment improvements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential

• Current unrestricted Queensland Electrical Licence
• Strong industrial maintenance or field service experience
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, loop diagrams and technical drawings
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and control systems
• Strong customer facing communication skills
• Current driver's licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Queensland and interstate

Highly Desirable

• Previous experience with Rotork actuators
• Valve automation experience
• EEHA qualifications or hazardous area experience
• Instrumentation Certificate or Dual Trade E&I qualification
• Experience within Water, Oil & Gas, Mining or Power Generation industries
• Exposure to PLC, SCADA or industrial control systems
• Calibration and commissioning experience
