PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As Senior S&OE Retail Planner your goal is to maximize the availability of products in our stores while at the same time optimizing the store levels to maximize profitability according to our S&OE 0-3 months horizon. You're also aiming to enable maximalization of sales, customer satisfaction and operational working capital. At last, you are the go-to person for (more junior) colleagues: Help, guide and advise them to get the best out of themselves and for the organization. When the manager is out of office you basically take over.
As Senior S&OE Retail Planner you manage the daily planning operations, while continuously seeking for improvements and new opportunities in replenishment (S&OE). Therefore, you must be eager to be the best in class, creative and commercial thinking and make that extra step in optimizing our forecast and stock position per store. As a senior, we expect you to work independently, challenge the status quo and coach other team members.
Your key responsibilities:
- KPI-management: Manage, provide, forecast and analyze, on a daily basis, relevant KPI’s & metrics like Availability, Days of Stock, Inventory Value & Turns, Missed Sales and Working Capital;
- Settings management: Decide on and evaluate replenishment and distribution settings for products & stores while considering factors like sales forecast, delivery days, lead time, safety stock, central stock and fluctuation in sales and lead time;
- Stakeholder management: Have a good relationship and frequent contact with Retail Coordinators in all countries and with internal teams like Supply Planning, S&OP, Logistics, Retail, Ecom and Marketing about topics like sales forecast, replenishment, stock levels, planning of promotions & introductions, delivery days, lead times. Be able to think end-to-end and understand the impact further than your own team.
- Process Owner: Responsible for owning one of our key OTC processes. Accountable for designing an effective and efficient process in combination with delivering quality outcomes as required by all stakeholders.
- Key-user: Be the subject matter expert of one of our tools. Analyze bottlenecks and make implementation proposals for improvements. Ensure the correct technical implementation, conducts functional tests, designs, and conducts training.
In this position you will report into the Manager Retail Planning and work closely with the Retail Coordinators (external stakeholders) and teams like Supply Planning, S&OP, Logistics, Retail, Ecom and Marketing (internal).
Qualifications
- You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in S&OE planning or replenishment planning or a combination of planning and forecasting in a commercial organization;
- Experience with working in a Retail or FMCG organization;
- You have a minimum Bachelor educational level, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration;
- You are great with Excel and have experience with working with Power BI dashboarding;
- You have knowledge of ERP and planning software, preferably Logility & Slim4;
- You have analytical skills and commercial insight.
- You are assertive, proactive, flexible, accurate and you have a high level of stress resistance
